Roasted Radishes 

Serves: 2-4 people 

Roasted Radishes are a spring time delicacy on the farm.  With many ways to enjoy radish from on salads, on their own (just rub off the soil and crunch down on a crisp radish) or roasted in the oven. Radish is a true flavour of spring.  One of our favourites is to have them roasted in the oven and eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack! 

Ingredients and Costing 

Radish Bunches

2 bunches of Ryans Market Garden freshly picked radishes 

2 tbsp olive oil 

1 tsp salt and pepper 

Total Cost: $7.00 

Roasted Radishes 


  • Rinse radishes 
  • Chop off radish greens and set aside for use in salads 
  • Cut the root and the tops of 
  • Quarter the radishes 
  • Mix radishes with salt, pepper and oil 
  • Place radishes on a cooking sheet and set oven for 350 degrees 
  • Cook radishes on middle rack for 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on them t make sure that they dont burn. 
  • Take out of oven and enjoy - these radishes are melt in your mouth good!
