She remembered learning how to sew with her grandmother as a child and decided to make her own reusable, washable, fabric masks. She unearthed the circa 1980 sewing machine and got busy making.
She would sew a face mask, try it for a few days, and not like something about it. She went through numerous designs and patterns before coming across the final Origami style mask.
