Our Sippin’ Meads originated in the deep desire to have a warm toasty drink for cool nights.
Our Bochet, brewed originally as a birthday wish, became a fast favourite. By style it is a bochet, meaning that we use caramelized honey to throw smoky flavours and combine it with a blended yeast to give it some cedar on the finish. Brewed to a strength of 12.0% it reflects a style of mead that many have come to love.
Number 19 and Number 22 are the first releases of our barrel program. Both meads are aged in gin barrels for a year. Number 19 balances berries on the nose with a nutty, sweet flavour. Number 22 balances floral on the nose with a dry woody flavour.
All Sippin' meads are naturally gluten free, no added sugar and all natural.
