We host experiences for all ages and comfort levels. We're busy preparing the property with self guided walking trails, pollinator gardens and a mead patio. You'll be able to visit our main beeyard on site, have a glass of mead and enjoy the country side of North Burlington.
This staff guided tour will walk you through flower, to hive to bottle and the unique role of pollintors, including honey bees, in our ecosystem.
During this hour long experience, our expert beekeeper will take the group into the Backed By Bees main honey yard where we will open a honey bee colony, interact with the bees and see the internal workings of a colony.Â
This guided honey and mead tasting will guide you through the unique aspects of mead, the world's oldest alcoholic beverage. Over a period of 90 minutes we will introduce you to mead, provide a little history and expose you to the full range of this exciting old but new category of beverage.Â
Come visit our market and mead bottle shop where we curate Ontario products we love. We also offer a selection of fresh vegetables and farm products for your table.
