Hidden Life of Pollinators | Guided Tour and Pollinator House Workshop

Embrace the beauty of the cooler seasons with this outdoor Guided Pollinator Path Tour and Pollinator House workshop. Explore the Pollinator Path to discover how bees, butterflies, and other pollinators prepare for and survive the winter months. Learn how native plants, habitats, and thoughtful stewardship support these species long before the first blooms of spring.

Following the tour, warm-up indoors with a glass of cider before building their own Solitary Bee Nest; designed specifically for native Ontario bees, each nest features holes that replicate the natural sizes and structures found in the wild, creating a safe space for solitary bees to lay their eggs and thrive. Assemble and decorate your nest while learning how to support pollinators at home.

Suitable for all ages, this hands-on experience blends creativity, education, and conservation in one cozy and inspiring outdoor-to-indoor adventure.

In case of extreme weather, the event will be rescheduled to the next day (Sunday).
