Returns and Exchanges

At Backed By Bees, we value our customers and aim to provide the best shopping experience possible. We understand that occasionally, you may need to return a product due to various reasons. To make this process as smooth as possible, please review our return policy:

Returns and Exchanges:

  • Non-Perishable Items: If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable item, you may return it within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase (receipt or digital proof of purchase). The item must be in its original packaging, unopened, not used and in a re-sellable condition. You will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Perishable Items: We take the quality and safety of our perishable items seriously. If you receive a perishable item that is damaged, spoiled, or does not meet our quality standards, please contact us at within 24 hours of purchase. We will arrange for a refund or replacement.

Return Process for Non-Perishable Items:

  • To initiate a non-perishable return, please bring the item(s) and proof of purchase to our retail store on 6214 Appleby Line where you made the purchase.
  • If you are unable to visit the store physically, please contact our customer service team at to initiate the return process.  You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the item(s) to us.  We cannot be held responsible for item(s) damaged or lost in return shipment.  Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service.  We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the item(s) or proof of received return delivery.


  • Certain items, such as produce, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), or alcohol, cannot be returned for safety and legal reasons. Please verify the return policy for these items at the time of purchase.
  • For health and safety reasons, opened or used products cannot be returned unless they are found to be damaged, spoiled, or defective upon receipt with proof.

Exchange Policy:

  • We are happy to exchange non-perishable items of the same value within 30 days of purchase if they are in their original, unopened packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Refund Processing:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
