We all know honey bees are incredibly important and beneficial insects. What better way to help out the honey bee population, learn about beekeeping without a large time or financial commitment, and share in the ‘sweet reward’ of all the bees hard work then to adopt a local beehive. Don’t worry, you won’t get stung (unless you want to!) as our beekeeper, Dave, will do all the work to make sure the bees are happy, healthy and thriving.
You will receive access to our beekeeping video series and you will be able to see how the hives are doing throughout the season including a mid season on site event.
Your involvement in this program goes to further our commitment to responsible beekeeping and the production of raw, unadulterated honey.
Each package includes
A bare bee hive box for you to paint/decorate
A share of the raw honey from the hive that you sponsor (general amounts below)
An invite to a mid season private event for all our adaptors where we gather in the bee yard to see how the colonies are progressing
This is a seasonal package which covers one full beekeeping season
*Honey from your hive will be ready once harvest season concludes (typically mid October) and you will be notified via email when ready!
