We all love variety in the dishes we prepare, eat and serve family and friends, but we sometimes run out of ideas. So, this week I’m sharing recipes that are easy and delicious while using multiple ingredients from the box in each recipe. I’ve tried to feature recipes with at least two bundle vegetables per recipe to ensure nothing is going to waste!
In honour of the Family Day Holiday Long Weekend this week’s feature is easy and delicious family friendly recipes featuring this week’s vegetables. These recipes will get even the picky eaters in your Family eating their vegetables and loving those brussels sprouts, rutabagas, and parsnips in this week’s bundle.

They taste similar to cremini mushrooms or button mushrooms, but have a richer and more intense umami flavour.
Fun Fact: They lack the waxy characteristic of red potatoes, which means they're easy to mash without becoming too gummy… bring on the mashed potatoes!
With this week’s bundle having both turnip and rutabaga you are probably wondering the difference besides just their size and colour! For a quick rule of thumb, the brownish-yellowish ones are rutabagas, and the smaller white and purple ones are turnips. In terms of their flavor, rutabagas are slightly sweeter-tasting than turnips whereas turnips have a slightly more radishy flavor.
