Broadening Relationships

Green Pastures Farmis family owned and operated, having been in Mike’s family for over forty years.  For 3 or 4 months in the Spring and Summer of 2019 Mike ran a pop up farm store on Bell School Line, just West of Milton and North of Burlington.  It was a great way to meet new customers and make some initial sales. Many of the people he met on the side of the road are still customers today. It was a really good experience, but it was A LOT of work!  At the same time, we were just starting up.

Over the past several months we've got to know Mike, who shares our values of producing high quality products and goals of creating a self sustaining business that provides quality food to the local community.  Through our discussions it became clear that it would make a lot more sense for us each to leverage our strengths and provide an overall better experience for our customers. Because of this, we are excited to announce that we will be working together in several ways going forward.

Green Pastures Farm will now be carrying our raw honey and will be making deliveries on their routes for Backed By Bees.  Additionally, the Backed By Bees farm store will be carrying Green Pastures products (The beef pepperettes are grass fed, finished, zero nitrates added and FANTASTIC) and will also function as a pick up location for pre-orders from Green Pastures during our regular store hours.
