So you want to get in on the action eh? In round 3 we went head to head with our local interpretation of a lemon cherry gelato. At 6.6% and sweet these two competition meads will having you drinking gelato in a mead!
And so now that you've had a chance to taste the meads, it is your turn to tell us how it really is.

Love round 3 – A
It’s delicate, almost floral.
This one was a bit easier to pick a winner for me.
I loved A because it was very much like a sweet traditional mead to me. The subtle lemon flavour was appealing and I almost picked it as my winner. However I need to give it to B. The cherry flavour came through as sweet, tart and was very easy to drink. I didn’t really get much of the lemon flavour like I had hoped but I didn’t mind that. Sweet, tart and fruity makes B my winner this time as it.
Side note: I bought a couple and tried them with my roommate. He really enjoyed B as well.
Both of these meads were fantastic. Light, refreshing and flavourful. I hink the winner for me is B as it has a nice cherry flavour.

Both myself and my husband likes mead B. We liked how sweet it was and it wasn’t as bitter as A.
